I'll just keep this short...

After weighing the good and the bad, I've come to this conclusion:
It sucked.
It sucked for many various reasons.
It sucked for reasons that more than likely have a great deal to do with me and my various issues.
It sucked for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with me and my issues.
It sucked in spite of the fixing of some of the issues.
In other words, it sucked.

On a high point, I'm home, where the disappointments are expected, so there isn't much of a letdown anymore...
Will I do it again next year? I dunno, really...depends on how I feel about it then...

Apparently, these two things are true:

A) The way to get more girls to attend the hentai AMV panel at ass in the morning is to tell them in the middle of a video just how horny you are...and hit on them relentlessly...because, of course, if they didn't show up with a guy in tow, they're only there to get laid, really...They couldn't possibly like hentai or anything, they're girls...

Luckily, they were easy to deal with in a blunt "Dude, I'm not going to fuck you" manner...


B) not nearly enough people have read Aubrey from Something Positive's Guide to Con Hygiene.

Not having a room on site isn't an excuse. Deodorant and an extra shirt, maybe even two, can fit inside a bookbag quite easily. So could a few extra pairs of underwear, now that I think about it (Not that I got that far...eew. Unless I have someone specifically in mind, in advance, I don't go to AWA to get laid). And for the truely anal, baby wipes are a life saver for shower-less weekends. And don't forget a toothbrush. I packed all of these things with me, no matter where I go on weekends...maybe there needs to be an add-on to the Guide.

The sad part is, I discovered both of these truths at the same time...gag...

So, I had a rum and Advil cocktail and a nap and am feeling much better. ( So here's my AWA report )

Didn't take enough pictures of costumes...missed the costume contest (didn't want to miss the Yaoi panel) and I scored Pocky! Now I am tired and sore and have work tommorrow, so it's time for my Advil and bed cocktail..

btw, if you hear me singing "I wanna rock, I wanna rock right now..." in a high pitched voice, I want you to simply say "Tubgirl"...that damn song is stuck in my head (I thought I would never hear that awful shit again. When it first came out, that was all people played in my neighborhood) and I need all of the negative reinforcment I can get to get it back out...

...only two hours of sleep the whole weekend...
