As a matter of fact, I have no intention of seeing either one, ever. I,I'm just not a big fan of Gaiman or Joss at all. I'm not too fond of fiction books (the most recent one I've read in years as Clive Barker's Imajica) and Firefly didn't really turn my crank at all.

I'm sorry guys, I know this will probably be the final violation of the Hip Geek code. I'll mail in my card so save the storm troopers from having to come over to revoke it in person.

My monitor's doing that blinky-blinky brightness thing, so I don't know how long it might hold out, and with that whole "saving dough for car" thing, I don't think I'll be buying a new one anytime soon, so if I'm not posting for a good long while...the damn thing went out..

Okay, good news: I know have a working CD-R drive...and there was much rejoicing

Bad news: The Floppy disk controller on my mommyboard is fucky...and I mean the bad kind of fucky (Floppy disk fail (40) fucky).

Worse news: Still no Interweb from home..and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth

Better news: With said CD-R installed, I will back up all my useful files, reformat my C drive, and reinstall Win2K, just as soon as Tony can let me borrow his copy.
