The Den of Sin has been moved to a new location, as has the rest of Ye Olde Bedroome. As such, we won't have Internet or phone for a couple of days, so you'll have to go on celebrating You're A Whore Day without me. I'm sure you're all saddened.

My personal motto for the weekend was stolen from Larry the Cable Guy: "Git 'R Done." Stress about and feel it later, get the shit done now.

I give myself a Golden Pat on the Back for keeping my cool this weekend, because moving really is as stressful as you make it, as I've learned from experience. It was hard, with so many different people touching and moving my stuff, but I managed to get through it without snapping, even maintaining a sense of calm and even managing to keep a good humor about me. Of course, the reward for such restraint was a tension/empathy headache so bad that drugs didn't help and I just wanted to lie down and die.*

So, I gift myself with the GPB, though I'd kill for a cold Guiniess and long backrub right now...



*Okay, so I did get my competence complimented by Carl, who was pleased at the fact that my room was (minus the computer, which always gets packed last) packed, I knew what of my shit was heavy, and I knew where I wanted most of it to go (at least, I knew where the My Dog heavy desk would go). It's so rare that I nearly forgot it.
